Title: [A16] - Pawns can shoot through diagonal walls if an open door exists in between
Post by: Calahan on December 18, 2016, 06:29:13 AM
Please note this is not my own bug report (apart from the title), as this was split from another bug report where two bugs were reported. So I split them re:"one bug one thread". The post this was split from can be found here.

Wow, it's true.

1. Build a vertical wall with a doorway.
2. Set the doorway to 'held open' and walk a pawn through it so it's open.
3. Build a block of wall just west of the doorway (blocking passage).
4. Position shooter just east of doorway.
5. Shooter can now fire through the doorway, through the wall corner-touch points and hit targets just northwest and southwest of the doorway.

Note that it doesn't work without a doorway there.
