Important:
This mod does not change the number of faction bases or directly change the frequency of raids, traders, travelers, etc.
I've always wanted more factions to be around, for additional trading and raiding options.
After failing to find a mod that does it, I made this.
Changes:
-forces 4 tribe factions, rather than the default 1-2
-forces 4 outlander factions, rather than the default 1-2
-forces 2 raider factions
compatible with old save files, overwrites factions_misc ( I'm not sure how this will work with other faction mods, use them with this at your own risk.)
Please note you will need to create a new game for this mod to show its effects. ( faction discovery may be able to help, i hear? )

How do you think it will work with Medieval Times?
Can you try and make it compatible with medieval times and the call of cthulhu mod/expantion?

I could make specfic versions for those mods, it's just a simple def tweak. I have to do it per every single faction though.
I'll look into making aditional versions that include the defs from those mods.
You should try to fix it for rimsanal and the ww2 factions

I like the mod. Played with it in a couple games and enjoy the extra factions. Have not seen any problems with it.

No it doesn't do that I don't think. It just adds more vanilla factions the game, like the Pirates, Tribes, etc. Meaning not more trades via comms console, but more trade caravans, more bases to raid... yeah.

Does it work with rimsenal, medieval times and talons?
It works with the Rimsenal factions, and numerous other faction mods too. I'm using this with Rimsenal, Orassans, Glitter Tech and Mechanoid Tech, and all the factions are working properly.
To anyone curious... YES, this MOD is compatible with Medieval Times MOD.
the main problem with the mod is that many locations are empty. no pplz. I guess the Mi-Go ate 'em.
How much of a performance impact is this mod? I'm particular sceptical about late game and relations.
Could factions war begins in somehow?

Does this have to be after/before/between specific mods to work properly?
Or does the mod "faction discovery" discover the additional groups of the same faction afterwards?
You only get these new faction with a new colony, or like you wrote with the mod "faction discovery".

Did a new colony, but no additional groups per faction. Does "faction discovery" makes them appear later in game?
Does you have "faction discovery" activ ? Then yes they appear later, thats a "faction discovery" thing.
If you want them right at the start, you should disable "faction discovery" then you should have these extra faction.

Started a new colony again without "faction discovery", but still no additional factions from game start.
Ok, i just activate and try it out for myself.
And anything works fine, got 10 faction total.
Maybe do you use another mod that modify or add other faction ?
Then try to move More vanilla factions at the end of the modlist.
If that all don't help, maybe try out a different mod

Yes, with faction control, you can adjust how many and what kind of faction do you want at your world.
Someone create a world where each tile got a faction base, crazy. You can find the picture at the end of the thread.
Since A17, most mods use a different methode to modify, so it doesn't matter much anymore if you load them first or last.
But there are still some mods which needed to be loaded first, because some other mod need them.
Or because they change something at the old way.
So when you encounter some errors or problems, it is allways a good choise to move the mod around.
