Just tried to load my save and it crashed with this error:
RimWorldWin.exe caused an Access Violation (0xc0000005)
in module RimWorldWin.exe at 0023:005e0ee1.
Error occurred at 2017-01-16_112420.
C:\Portable Games\RimWorld.Alpha.16\RimWorldWin.exe, run by Jonasz.
48% memory in use.
0 MB physical memory [0 MB free].
0 MB paging file [3238 MB free].
0 MB user address space [469 MB free].
Read from location 00000000 caused an access violation.
Whats strange is that it shows I have 0 physical memory which is of course not true.

Thank you for the bug report, and for including your log file.
I am not sure what the cause of your crash is but my two initial guesses are:
1 - It's mod related. I have checked the log and there are errors like this being reported.
Object with load ID AssignedDrugsSet_0 is referenced (xml node name: curAssignedDrugs) but is not deep-saved. This will cause errors during loading.
A forum search seems to suggest that "deep-saved" issues are related to mods (or at least most of the posts on the forum are in the mod forum). A rough count says you are using close to 100 mods, which is seriously a lot, and I'd be amazed if they are all 100% compatible with each other.
2 - You have encountered a known issue regarding a memory problem with the current version of the game. Whereby the game will use an increasing amount of memory as a playing session progresses, until the game either crashes, and/or fails to save, and/or corrupts a save file when saving. With the latter probably applying in this case, and the problem is known to be made worse by running full worlds, large maps, or a large number of mods. With the latter again likely applying in your case.
Something else could be the cause of the problem, but these are my best guesses right now, and the solution is to either find out which mod is causing the problem if there is a conflict. Or if it's a memory issue, save very often using multiple save files (in case it corrupts), and get into the habit of restarting your computer after lets say a one hour playing session, in order to counter the increasing memory usage that occurs as a playing session progresses.
Either way I'm going to move this to mod bugs as it's very likely that either a particular mod, or combination of mods, has caused this issue. Or that the mods have caused a memory issue to corrupt the save file. Even if the cause is something not mod related, I highly doubt Tynan would even look at this once seeing all those mod entries in the log file. But if this error can be reproduced in a vanilla game, then that's different story altogether.
I tried to search for mods with curAssignedDrugs but haven't found anything. Also tried to unload every mod I could - still crashes with the exact same error.
Youre running 0.14.1241 which is Alpha 14. This wont be the memory bug as we didnt have it in that alpha. Youre so far outside of support as none of those mod versions (some are mine ) are gonna be supported anymore. Id say just scrap the save and move on.
