On one hand, the gameplay is great, and cool, and really inventive, as is the atmosphere and other elements
On the other, I REALLY hate the whole "female superiority" shtick that is played with it, paired with the endless amount of scantily clad women, which only serves to detract from it.
..... I'm mostly playing xcom files now, since its a nice balance of gameplay, and believability
I would ask for a mod for a men and women run mutant colony, except you would need to rewrite half the damn mod for it to make sense :( You would need to effectively rewrite it all.

Pretty small selection for "favorite" game.
I would have to say the OLD X-com UFO defense.
It is very old, very aged looking, but the mechanics are pretty fantastic, being a MUCH deeper tactical sim than xcom enemy unknown, and 2, enabling far more tactics, tricks, and other approaches to fights.
Its also helped its open source (pretty much any game which becomes opensource ends up great imo) And thus it has a source port called "openxcom" allows a bit more for the community to play with and mod.

The snake game... Metal Gear Solid (Made by Hideo Kojima and Konami) or the True Snake game?
As for Kindom Hearts, it's a work from Disney Entertainment and Square Enix.
And if I had to pick a studio that everygame i've played i've loved, I'd pick From Software. And Ludeon.

Halo 3 by Bungie, great FPS with a interesting story and characters.
Half Life 2 + EP1&2 by Valve, I put them all under one title but to be honest they're really solid games with fun mechanics.
Counter Strike Global Offensive by Valve, despite the rage I've felt playing this game it always drags me in because at its core it's a great experience.
Mount and Blade: Warband by Taleworlds Entertainment: Great strategy mixed with FP/TP view fighting, graphics are a bit dated but the game still holds up.
Warahmmer 40k: Dawn Of War by Relic: One of the classic RTS games for an awesome universe, specifically Dark Crusade.
