I been think of someone could make a mod where the pawn has an backpack to carry weapons Foods and supplies (similar like tools for haul, combat realism)

Simple Sidearms is a must! Hope it will be in vanilla some day. But as OP says, portable storage for foods and supplies would be nice to have as well.
Simple Sidearm to me is good for the fact that I can have a pawn with both melee and range, but so far haven't played with it much to see if I can have anything else. An expanded inventory mod for it would be interesting as equipping a backpack to expand the pawns base inventory (and to an extent world travel). Being able to manage it would be cool too.
Pawns can carry meals in their inventory but i haven't found any handler for that. :(

Yeah but be cool to carry other things like a portable table or chair. Circumvent the "ate without table" thing
