Descriptions:

Make War Not Love
Legacy from A17. Mostly a flavor mod now, since the background pawn handling is greatly improved in B18 vanilla. Removes the social system (prisoners and animals still bond). Only use this if you dont like the social system.

Rot Tick Fix
Lowers the temperature check interval for rotting items.

Manhunter Fix
Prevents Manhunters sound and mote (red mist above their head) spam.

Idle Fix
Non drafted pawns wont check their surrounding every 4 frames for target or fire.

Tick MultiThread
Currently it runs the plants tick event in a different thread. Nice addition to the swamp maps. Not compatible with "fast ecology" dev option, and mods that load asset with the TickLong method.

Psychic Lance Bypass Forced Death
Psychic Lance bypasses forced death checks when pawn is downed.

Less Stacking
Allows collision checks for pawns without nearby hostile. This way prevent big stack from fast spreading when gets near colonist. Visually it will still look like they teleport all around but they flow only with walking speed so you dont lose distance to enemy.

More Reasonable Prison Break
Colonist or Content/Happy prisoner cant prisonbreak, except if they was in prison for more than 1 year overall.

I Think You Missclicked
Ask for confirmation if you give order to forced feed corpse or if you try to arrest a colonist who isnt in mental state.

Auto Update
Auto Update mods on confirmation if the mod folders has a "DirectDownloadLink.txt" that contains a valid link to a .zip file. On first usage after activation and game restart, it will create a backup on your mods in the Mods folder and if you confirm, it will update all possible mod to ensure all mod is up-to-date. Currently it makes an overwrite update, so it doesnt delete extra files from the mod folder. Later i will make an extra optional file to help delete obsolete files.

Less BeeBoop
Removes every BeepBoop sound except pawn death.

How to install:
- Unzip the contents and place them in your RimWorld/Mods folder.
- Activate the mod in the mod menu in the game.

When I use the rot tick fix I can no longer store meals in a rim fridge. The option is just not there to select them. Other things (like herbal medicine, space weed, beer) work as the always do.

As quickfix you can delete the RotTickFix\Defs folder. I only set the pemmican rotting time there so its not essential for the mod. Later on i will try to find a different route to change the pemmican to avoid compatibilty issue.

Thanks. So you made a special case for pawn deaths that does a custom beepboop and then prevented all normal beepboops.

I went in a different direction. I modified the Message method to check where it came from and play custom sounds based on the origin.

i had a mod that auto-updated "more reasonable prison break" to the A17 version, however i'm still using A16 and now its complaining that its incompatible. so do i need to find a link to the A16 version or will this version work with it?

In "more reasonable prison break" only the version number changed. Didnt expect a16 will mark it as out of date with newer number :D .
I wont upload anything with the auto-updater that can break the game/save file.

I plan to make the mods check game version and change the game accordingly. I guess i will have to backdate version numbers too.

"ManhunterFix.SpecialInjector_ManhunterFixDetour4" was already disabled in the current version of ManhunterFix (the attack range reduction made it easier to cheese the manhunterpack)
Are you using A16 or A17? Because "TryGiveJob" got change in A17 so that could cause the problem.
(The current version of ManhunterFix is still for A16)

I'm not using A17.
I gotta tell you that if that is whats making the mod be so good, I rather disable the event than having to use your mod without that feature.

The attack range reduction only helped with performance when the pack spawns and start to target a pawn from the edge of the map. Since targeting a moving object currently force a constant path renew, that can cause a big performance loss.
I plan to rework this part of the game to target last used door so they wont renew the pathfinding.

The other parts of the mod are still active, those parts are responsible for the sustained performance increase. (like target search at every 4 frame, sound spam, visual effect spam)

Could I modify LessBeepBoop to only apply to animals? I'm macro player, growing a huge farm and there's no need for me to be announced for animal births etc. but I still would like to have the rest of beep beeps.

Thanks for all your work. Is there a way to have a "make war not love" -light version? I'd like to have the guys in my colony to interact socialy but I really don't care if my cook likes trader XY. So basically restrict the social system and the stuff it keeps track of to the people of your colony.

Would you mind making the source code for all your mods available?

Especially the multithreaded plant ticking is a big accomplishment, and having something like that open source would enable others to build upon it, or learn from it to apply to other areas. In addition, it would help other modders to isolate potential issues, and help make the mod even better.

I loaded Tick MultiThread as second mod after Core.
With this loaded all plants are growing veeery slow, 0.2-5% per day. With TMT disabled the plant grow is normal again, 20% per day.

Sure, i will upload them. But i will take a little more time with the Multithread mod before uploading, since the source is a mess now. I'm sorting out the thread syncronization errors then i make it available.  ;D

When a pawn (human, animal, mech) goes through the possible jobs, the last one is the Idle_wait. When they do this job they search their surroundings for hostile target/fire every 4th frame. (to do this they, search the list with every in-game object which is costly) Normally they get firefighting job or attack job before they could enter the Idle job. I remove this check for the non-drafted colonists (drafted ones need the Idle firefighting in their surrounding) and for the animals. The only function that is lost by this remove is the untrained colony animals ability to attack adjacent hostile target while standing Idle. (if they get attacked they get an attack job too so they just cant start the fight. The trained animals get attack jobs while their master is drafted anyway. Neutral animals enter manhunter job when they turn hostile so they can always attack.)

As i see, he uses the same approach as me. Yes, every job can be put on different threads, but need to think about the overhead and development time from doing so. (also need to think about that the game still constantly changing.) I started with the slowest job which is the plant growing.

I saw this mod showcased on a recent Barky video. As I had a large map on peaceful with a load of farms on it which was very laggy I thought that I would try this out. I dont know what the fps was before this mod was put in (I can check if wanted) but afterwards zoomed in it was roughly around 20-30fps and was a lot less laggy. I could even move to a different place without having to pause! So thanks for your mods.

Fixed the MultiThread mod's all known bug. ( like ghost filth, pathing errors, random anomalies etc.) Performance wise it should be between vanilla and the buggy version. Any feedback appreciated about performance, since i cant really test it on my PC.  ;D

Order probably doesnt matter. (if conflicting with a mod, then probably need to make a patch anyway)
But the best to put it at the bottom of the list.

Can somebody please give an example of such mods or give a general explanation of what it is? I have no idea what it means.

I dont know exact mod, but its possible that a mod that adds new plants graphics to the game uses the same method as me, and need to do a compatibility patch.

I had a problem with a small content mod and removed it after removing all instances of the content that it adds. However Multitick counts constantly increasing errors saying

is MultiTick supposed to make OTHER mods impossible to remove? It even forces the exact same load order (which is a pain with 50+ mods). Aside from having to drag the error box to the side (if dev mod is on), the save will load and play, albeit with .5sec lag every 4 seconds...

Multitick mod can be safely add to or remove from an existing save.
The "DoSingleTick" method is just what makes the game move so you will see that line in every error report.
In your case it looks like one of the background pawn wearing an item or having a weapon or having an item in inventory that was part of the extra content and the game cant calculate it.
(you can turn off the auto-open on the error report if the windows bothers you.)

TickMultiThread not compatible, it would break skip and palletes. I hope author move mods to harmony, to make it more compatible.
