Title: [Steam Workshop]Multi-author mods ? (several peoples able to updates it)
Post by: kaptain_kavern on August 19, 2017, 12:35:31 AM
Currently if another modder adds me as an author; it seems I can't updates the mod (even with the right "publishid" file in "About" folder). Right?

Or am I doing it wrong? Anyone have a tip please?

I'm pretty new on this sh... :-X $team Work$hop  ::)

I have the very same question. Nobody knows or is it incompatible with how steam works?

Haven't find a proper solution yet. I just gave up and re-upload the whole thing ...

No steam is pathetic in that regard, only one person can update the files to a plugin.

Multiple people can edit the text though.

The best way is probably to set up a git repository and have one dedicated guy upload stuff on the workshop.
At least the other authors can edit the texts and are tagged as developers when they respond or post in the comments.

If the original author leaves the project though your only chance is re-uploading as you already did apparently.
