Title: Sorting animals by size/age
Post by: giannikampa on September 13, 2017, 04:01:02 PM
So this is a question: can you properly sort your animals by age? i see a weird order, maybe it is something i do not get, maybe a minor bug.
here a printscreen of my game right now

Did you check the QoL mod called Animal Tab (https://steamcommunity.com/sharedfiles/filedetails/?id=712141500) ?

Most likely sorting goes by animal type, then by some internal ID as the order in the list changes, when animals leave area and reenter again with caravans

i think i have to address that in vanilla you can sort animals clicking on the icon in the upper row. When you click on the "size" column it should sort by size, next click on same button sorts inverted, next click remove the sorting (a small triangle tells you the sorting is in act). It seems to me that other buttons work correctly: when i need to see on top those animals that have any training i can see them properly ordered.

My first though was that age and size may be ambiguous in this, but it does not fit: in the printscreen you can see Wizard the rino sorted before Doll the rino even if Doll is smaller(younger?) than Wizard.
