I'm having some problems getting RimWorld to launch. I've played ~30 hours and I've launched it several times without error, but most recently it launches to a blank screen and stays that way even after letting it sit for an hour. I'm wondering if I should just reinstall, but like an idiot I've deleted the installation launcher, AND I cant figure out how to get back to the page that lets you download another one of the limited use downloads. Help?
which mods are you using?
I had a somewhat similar issue with one mod that I had to delete from the ModsConfig.xml in the config folder next to the saves
I was using a lot of mods, pretty much every one on the forum :P. I cleaned out the Mods folder and the .xml file, but it still just opens to a blank screen.
the mod that had caused the issue for me was the rimrat mod
If you cleaned the modconfig.xml maybe you've cleaned out core too?
Try to delete it instead. RimWorld will recreate it, when it isn't found.
Good news! It turns out I'm just an idiot! Since I paid through paypal, the emails with the updates were sent to an email address that I don't use very often. I'm all good to go now, thanks everyone!
