Title: Removing an incident from an ALREADY RUNNING game.
Post by: Yehomere on June 10, 2018, 02:12:24 PM
As the title says, is this possible? I created a save where I removed most things that i don't like, things that are there just because they needed something bad to put in. They make no sense whatsoever, so I opted to remove them. one of these is sleeping sickness. At the point of making the game, I hadn't disabled it as I didn't think it was serious. Little did I know it would keep half my colony immobilized for entire seasons on end. Therefore I was looking to remove it, and to this point I haven't found any way to do it. Can anyone help me out here?

You should create a new colony, at the scenario editor add "disable incident" then select sleeping sickness.
After the map is created, just safe it.
Open the safegame and search for the disabled incident.
Remember where these entry is made, and try to locate it at your current safegame and add it.

But that don't remove the sleeping slckness at your pawn's.
You can use the dev tools, Restore body part, torse should remove it.

No, neither of those work. I think i'm just going to give up on the game until an update or something comes out. I don't want to spend another 3 days doing the same thing.
