Title: Rotted hunted animals
Post by: danielhall78 on July 12, 2018, 11:15:41 PM
SO is there any way to get rid of animals that have been hunted and not butchered? They rot, become a corpse, and sit there forever. I thought I would be able to cremate them, but no avail. Also once a person rots it's sometimes impossible to get rid of them as well.

You just need to set up dumping stockpiles correctly.

I have one dumping stockpile for noncolonist human corpses, rotten or not. I have it set up so nobody can see it in normal wandering unless they are putting a corpse there.
I have another one for dumping rotten animals. As soon as an animal starts rotting, it gets dragged there (unless it's out in the world because the game autoforbids them)
And I have a third one for non-rotten animals, in the same, refrigerated room that my butcher table is in.

All 3 are "critical" and there are no other stockpiles that accept dead animals or noncolonist humans.
