Title: RimWorld inspired me to make a indie game (Life Simulator)
Post by: Wizirdi on October 13, 2018, 06:54:16 PM
I am making a "Household Survival Game" where you have to survive "real life" in a house. Stay in good health, make a living, stay out of debt, maintain a social life. Think RimWorld having a baby with The Sims. This is a project of love, and I just wanted to share for those who would like to follow the project :)

I post daily updates on Twitter: http://twitter.com/wizirdi

I'd also love any help with graphics or suggestions - You can reach out on Twitter if you'd like to be involved!

Sounds good.
1]Will there be enemies? Perhaps the tax man comes to audit you but you have a moat full of trained crocodiles and a sentry turret?
2]I suggest you have more detailed character models
3]I realize this is a big addition but it will give you something Sims does not have: follow the character to work, instead of having the player fast forward through the time their character is at work.
4] Have lots of achievements with in-game rewards. People love that.
