Just updated, & keep getting the message that "everyone has died" when I try to start a new game. Pod doesn't drop or anything. Can't even do the tutorial. Tried different game scenarios and tried to uninstall and reinstall. I don't use mods. :(
Try to delete the /mods/Core folder, or delete anything from the rimworld installation.
Uninstall don't delete anything.
If that don't help read the sticky and provide a logfile.
Your modlist doesn't seem any dangerous, I feel you added something into core that is causing issues. Delete Core and reinstall as Canute says.
