Title: Manhunter packs shouldn't attack powered turrets that are holding fire
Post by: MeowRailroad on December 22, 2018, 03:31:08 PM
If the turret isn't shooting at them, why would they attack it? Also, certain smaller animals shouldn't be able to damage turrets as easily as they can now, like squirrels.

I'm not sure if I agree with this, again it would be too open to abuse.
You power down the the turret, they chose a new path. Then you power it back again, they chose a new one. With this simple tactic you could make them go from point A to B, it's just not feasible.

@derped, not nessesarily. You can have it hold its fire and when you go to have it fire, the Manhunter pack will remember it. This is the same deal for if you turn off power to a powered turret.

plus, once the pack has chosen it's target, they tend to hit it a few times before checking for a new priority....such as when a pawn walks through a door.
