Some bugs I've run into (1.0)

(DISCLAIMER: While I backed RimWorld in early access, this is the first time I've been seriously playing it so some of these may be my own stupidity.)

Hi,
basicly most of this arn't bugs.

- roof, looks like you are missing some support. Maybe it got mined or deconstruct away.
Then the roof don't got can't build at the middle anymore.
You can either build a door, which act as roof support too, and let it force open, or made the room smaller.

- Y Key, you should be able to change the keyassignments at the options.

- food production, you can assign a 2. cook (maybe someone who cook while the other sleep), build a Nutripaste dispencer or improve the cooking process with 2 1x1 stockpiles of raw food next to the stove and dump cooked stuff on the ground.

- hungry, do you await that a sleeping pawn smell new food while he sleep ?
When i starving i rather sleep and die while sleeping then to work with the block hole in the stomach.
- for a semi-amateur player you should haved search the forum about water.
- Select the Harvest designator and then draw a box around your field, and all plants inside get marked to harvest.
- Hauling, mosttimes someone else haul from/to it and lock that place/stack.
- Tainted clothes, then the whole idea behind would be useless. The devs add tainted clothes so you don't swim at wealth after a raid with all the stuff from raiders.

For many of your problems you can use mod's like Cooking 4 or more meal's at once.

cant post as a bug as there seems to be no pattern, but the strangest thing. blueprints for various materials double beds randomly appear on the landscape. Next thing I know one of my pawns is carrying a fully made double bed to the blueprint. none of the other beds are missing and its not a bed i created.
The infinite storage Mod cause several endless loops that my pawns could not get out of. picking putting down picking up again and putting it back where it picked it up in the first place, then on and on. Disabled those items meat, leather, infinite did it because i had two placed. The infinite silver worked fine.
Just thought i up for anyone else that might have had it happen.?

sorry but this subforum is only for plain vanilla bugs.
If you encounter some problem's with mod's you should use "mod bugs" or when you allready think you know the troublemaking mod, ask the mod author at the mod topic about it.

Most questions were answered by Canute, I got some forther comments:
3. Are you sure the priorities are set up correctly? Pawns will work on jobs based on their work assignment priorities.
4. Pawns should prefer meals over raw food, aslong as it's reachable. Maybe you ran out of meals?
9. If you can reproduce this, please give us the info we need (see below). But as canute said pawns can reserve places if they are about to haul something somewhere.

Sorry but that's the most enoying bug I encounter all the time now in 1.0 and a real one ;

Very easy to reproduce cause you can get it instantly when landing SOLO with a lot of items :

As soon as you play with the setting of a stockpile zone and with the priority it seems we loose some refresh and cannot haul anymore without playing again with these setting  :/


I cannot find a way to take sceenshots (!?!) F11 or another key like F12 dont work but i have a save with this prob (I made a fresh restart just to reproduce the bug easily)


those verification questions are really bad for someone not English or not so good with English  sorry !!   that's too tedious  :(

Ok I found the way to send the save file as a zip file  ^^  Hope it works

Added : I encouter the prob often cause I really enjoy to specialize all of my stockpiles like one for Stone blocks, an other for Leathers & textiles, etc .. even in the freeze I always made two zones : one near the door for meals only and a bigger one after for all raw foods and animals corpses. ^^

So as my games evolve and the bases grow, in time I need to modify a lot all stockpiles zones to specialise even more.
