Title: Bonded animals should sleep closest to their masters
Post by: derped on March 01, 2019, 02:01:15 PM
If there is an animal sleeping spot/sleeping box/bed closer to their masters, bonded animals should use that for sleeping. (even if not bonded, animals with masters should behave like this)
This is purely aesthetic, but when I have a bonded labrador and a sleeping box in it's master's bedroom, I'd expect the dog to use it.

You can do this with zoning, in fact. I recomend you do so to prevent death of that bonded animal.

I'm not talking about micromanaging it even more, the opposite, I'd like if they behave like this by default.

That would force the player to have the bonded animal sleep closer. What if a player wants a different animal to bond with a pawn? I don't think this needs to be added when you can just zone the area. I could see this being implemented by assigning animals to specific beds if they have obedience training.
