alright lads ive now spent 4 hours trying to fix this but for some reason the vanilla bed texture looks like a bench now.... its like a wooden block. they can still sleep on it but the whole ass texture is wack. anyone know how i can replace it? ive uninstalled and reinstalled, uninstalled a bunch of mods that mightve broken it (that is probably the problem), and verified the files.
i downloaded a mod that makes the gloomy furniture replace the default furniture textures but uninstalled (which is what i think is the problem)
ONLY THE BED SEEMS TO BE BROKEN. any help is very appreciated <3

do you speak about the vanilla bed or some bed's from other mods ?
Try to delete Mods/Core (if you use steam just delete whole Mods) and let it repair/reinstall it.
Uninstall sometimes don't delete all files.
thank you for replying! i just tried that and it didnt work :( i meant vanilla beds, do you know if theres any way i could just download a replacement for the texture or something? i am willing to do anything at this point
When delete didn't help, one of the other mod's you use should replace that texture.
You just need to find out which one.
You can either search inside the Mods folder for "bed" at the search results you maybe get a hint about the mod when you check the pathing.
Or use the 50% methode (Deactivate half of the mods) until you find the one.
If you use hugslib, you can use the quickstart feature (need to have developer mode on, then shift right click on the top right icon) to create a quick test colony. Then place with god mode on a bed to check the texture.
