Title: How can I access old versions
Post by: alemdar on March 30, 2020, 09:03:38 PM
Hello, I'm new to the forum, first of all hello to all of you.
I need to get into the old versions of the game, how can i access?

for example alpha 15 or 16 or 17
I did some research but I didn't get any results.

Sorry for my bad english.

If you own the Steam version, opt in to Betas and choose your version; they go back a good ways but not all the way to the beginning.

If you bought RW from Ludeon directly, I *believe* you can d/l some older versions via SendOwl but I'm not sure.

No Sendowl provide only the latest version, no old ones.

my problem still continues.

I saw people storing old versions of the game in the forum. I wonder if they have one of the alpha 15,16,17 versions, Can you send me?

alemdar,
if you got a DRM-free version you can get a free steam key.
With that key register at steam, then you can install with steam A16 (that is the first version on steam i think).
But if you don't like to register at steam, you need to life with the latest version.

Thank you for your answer, my friend. I thought I could access the old drm-free version without steam. But as far as I understand from what they say, this was not possible. Still thank you
