Title: [Mod] (Alpha 6) Neo Muffalos, Surffalos & Ninja Skwivels (May contain nuts)

Adds extremely immersion breaking Neo Muffalos 8) in game
They behave and work like normal muffalos, just slightly rarer
and live in smaller herds (They can't really deal with eachother I guess =P)
May or may not include ninja skwivels

The brave souls willing to settle on the desert may encounter the
elusive Surffalo.

Mob drops include Nuts, Shades and Dusters
Warning! Shades may cause temporary baldness

If anyone feels like they want to modify, expand or just make the mod better alltogether
They are free to do so!

Though general politeness* is encouraged!
*whatever that may mean to you =P

I just made the Side sprite as joke to someone's comment about 'Muffalo duster'
then someone else asked if the muffalo was a mod

What can I say! I'm easy to convince into things

And Killaim I did give him pretty high dodge chance
so while he's probably not going to dodge them in bullet time
he's still somewhat tricky to hunt

No I didn't! but I was thinking about it when I read of the mrofas extended bullet thing
Boomrat launcher will sadly not be a thing
but I could of had the squirrels throw nuts at you if arming them is a thing
(If I'm ever bored enough to make that happen)
Or maybe a monkey and bananas
I'll go do something else before I get too many ideas!

Make it easier to hunt them too! Lower skilled colonists take so long to bring one of these down that they risk starvation lol

I can't actually find a way to get anything actually spawn in the wilds on their own
I noticed the <Wildbiomes(orsomethinglikethat)>XericShrublands</Wildbiomes>
wasn't a thing anymore

can spawn them with the console thing though

But where from can I assign the creatures to spawn on their preferred biome?
This is mildly frustrating =P

This is actually still supported, but I don't use it anywhere. Try this. In ThingDef, inside <race>:

<wildBiomes>
<li>
<biome>AridShrubland</biome>
<commonality>1000</commonality>
</li>
</wildBiomes>

You'll want to adjust the commonality for the actual game.

That did it! Thank you so much
Now I'll just have to make Sunshades a thing and have them drop those, aswell
(Much needed accessory to survive on the harsh desert biomes, keeps you cool   sorry)

Edit:
Updated!
adds Surffalo and wearable Shades into the mix
(Shades cause baldness, I'm sorry. Not sure I can do anything to fix that)

P.S. also, muffins, they're easier to hunt now (I forgot to buff their health back up =P)

just tried your mod (with others), and had a fatal exception thrown at me with your mod as the last loaded in the debug window

Ouch, that sounds.. fatal
It might have some complications with other mods you have (Same item id maybe? I don't know, this should be quite friendly with the game)

Oh I actually forgot to remove the old alpha 5 versions from the attachments
Sorry! there was quite a few more downloads on that
The new Surffalo sprites buffed the mod size over the acceptable 300
so I couldn't add the new one in there
I guess the mediafire link wasn't noticeable enough in comparison to the attachments
You might have downloaded the alpha 5 version which would cause the game to freak out =P

Be sure to remove the old Neo Muffalo mod before Extracting the new one in there
God I hope I didn't break too many people's games *ashamed* :-[

it was the 1.2 version of the mod, the other mods (and they are working fine in a6) are medbed 1.4,small walls 1.3,workplaces 160tmods-vanilla-130, miscellanous 160hires no mia, and powerswitch 160 and were activated in alpha name sequence

1.2? ohh, then it definately was the old one for the Alpha 5
Cause I don't recall placing any version numbers on the new update at all *hides*
You should be fine with the version on the first page (I removed all the old downloads)
Thanks Harpo! I'll still try running the mod with the same mods you did anyway After I've finished updating Apparello (cause I'm a bit paranoid like that)

But you should be fine if you download the file through the mediafire though

Well I was actually planning for him to drop an edible mic
just because the ninja squirrels drop ninja nuts

Depends how long it is till alpha 8 =P Ima update this at the same time when I wanan add more other "not-so-silly-animals" in the game. I just have so much of other stuff I wanna do first (and real life is interfering! what a drag *sigh*) I want to make a specific muffalo type for each biome and other stuff

Yes! Jacketed Muffalos in Snow Biome that spawn Dusters when killed.

I made bunch of textures for stuffs!
and then half of wearable set of Surffalo's beach shorts
but then I got the very good opportunity to shove all my "legit" animals on Iggypop so =P
and then I'm reaally really high status member of procastinators unite and very imaginative with
excuses, specifically ones that I can fool myself with (the best kind!) and then I got dissapointed with how the animal spawning works now, with having to modify the core mod biomes xml

So not before alpha 9 atleast! So dr Z can wait still! but I'm sure he has patients Y and Z to operate meanwhile!

Yeahy, more waiting. I really like waiting, it's a skill that took me yaers of learning to master it, but playing RimWorld has helped me a lot to get better.

I would join procrastinators untied, but I need MORE rounder tuits in more colours and a LOOOOTTTT more time to do the things I need to do, and this is the SAME situation I have been in for MANY years.
