[1.1] Snowshoes
Description:
This mod adds snowshoes to travel faster on snow, crampons to travel faster on ice and modern spiked snowshoes for both.
It also reworks how path cost it's calculated when dealing with snow.
Requires Harmony
Features:
- Snowshoes (tribal) to walk easier on snow
- Crampons (industrial) to walk easier on ice
- Spiked snowshoes (industrial) walk easier on snow and ice (although worse than specific items)
- Rework on path cost calculation to ignore terrain on medium or thick snow
- This only works on colony map
Planned:
- Find an easy way to implement on world map (ideas needed)
Compatibility:
Pretty much untested.
You can add it safely to a savefile.
Uses Harmony Transpile on Pawn_PathFollower.CostToMoveIntoCell() to completely replace PathGrid.CalculatedCostAt()

I thought about it, but wouldn't add much functionality since skies are only more useful on snow slopes that are not in the game, plus I wouldn't get away without a 'being warn texture' and replacing tracks on the snow that I avoided for now.

I am not the great expert on ski's but ski or special cross-country ski don't require slopes.
But slopes are like paths and give you a greater speed.
Or why do you think these sky fanatics like to get a helicopter on the mountains and to ride down on fresh snow who noone else was be before.
Without slopes they are just like snowshoes with a better boni.

Yes, that's what I mean, without slopes skies are only more cumbersome snowshoes.
