Title: "Strip corpse" order
Post by: Telkir on August 11, 2014, 10:54:16 AM
In the late game when you have a lot of corpses hanging around the map it becomes a pain to micromanage one or several colonists to strip certain corpses (particularly raiders wearing power armour).

To solve this it would be nice to have an order that could mark corpses that you want your colonists to strip, similarly to how you mark rocks and slag for hauling.

Sounds quite funny, a "make naked" order  :D

Wouldn't hurt and would make things easier. Also, corpses should be auto stripped prior to burial or cremation, IMO.

How about calling the order: "Loot Dead" ;D

If clothes stacked and we could sell/trash them I would like this option.

Definitely would be nice, even if it were just as simple as colonists auto-stripping all corpses in the area (similar to how manually giving them a haul order will make them haul all similar resources around that stack, not just the pile you clicked on).

Agreed, takes longer to strip/dispose of corpses then it does to kill them. I don't fear 50+ man raids, I fear cleaning up the mess afterwords.

how about colonists simply strip anything they have storage for, got a spot for powered armor? gets taken off and put there without any extra orders.  no spot for tribal wear? off to the incinerator with the body.

or failing that, being able to config the bill at the incinerator so it wont burn corpses wearing things you want.  strips them before burning.

Alternatively it could be a tickbox behaviour (as seen with feeding/friendly chat in prisoner settings). That way they automatically strip all dead before burning/burying them.
