Ive just purchased royalty and ideaology, have installed them in the data folder as instructed.
Clean install of 1.3, no mods (not steam).
When I run rimworld it comes up looking like vanilla rimworld, no royalty or ideology start screen.
When I look in the mods tab both dlc's are flagged as incompatible with the version of rimworld.
It seemed to work fine on first install, then I tried installing some mods and rimworld crashed.
I have tried deleting everything related to rimworld on the computer and reinstalling several times.. not sure what else I can do?
Any help appreciated.
When you start RW, at the main screen top left is the version number.
Check if you start the right version of Rimworld.
Normaly RW use different folder names like
RimWorld1-1-2573Win64 or
RimWorld1-3-3069Win64
Be sure you start the right version of RW, and be sure you copy the DLC's at the right folder.
You describe that you copy the DLC's into the Data folder of the 1.2 RW
Or it could be that you installed 1.3 a few days ago and download the DLC's later and installed them.
Be sure all the download have the same 4 digit number.

I only have one version of rimworld installed, 1.3.3066.
Both DLCs are 1.3.3066 as well
That is how they display in the mods menu, but with a warning icon saying they are incompatible.
Maybe you didn't install them right.
Inside the RW installation you find the Data folder, there you should see Core,Royalty,Ideology.
Inside Royalty you should see About,Assetsbunde,Defs,Languages,Patches.
When RW don't find the About.xml at the right place, it maybe recognize the DLC but don't can see the version.
