I'm having some trouble taming some animals and I don't understand what's wrong.
I have about 500 hours in the game so I'm not new, though it has been a while since I've played.
I've been playing a little bit the last couple of days and didn't run into any troubles however I added a couple more mods and the first problem I noticed was I couldn't feed one of my prisoners because it said there was 'no usable food', despite me having plenty of food and no restrictions on his diet.
I figured the save was broken and removed the game from my pc and did a fresh install.
Started again, added the mods (all of them are updated for 1.3, autosorted and no error log) and straight away I couldn't tame one of the herbivore dinosaurs on the map because I "didn't have any usable food". I cut some berries and had the right handling level and it still wouldn't let me tame it. I tried picking up the berries into my handlers inventory and that didn't help either.
So I figured it must be one of the mods, removed all the mods and started a vanilla game and still I can't tame certain animals like the Megasloth or the Rhino, even after cutting down berries to feed them. I can tame other animals on the map like Guinea pigs, rats etc but not the big herbivores, it just says "no usable food"...
I just did a fresh install of the game AGAIN (including deleting the Ludeon folder) and I started a new game with no mods, I have someone with 11 handling and a bunch of kibble and I still can't tame a Megasloth because it says 'no usable food'
Started a new game, ended up with a pet Warg. Can't train it despite having 14 handling and a bunch of kibble. Also can't tame the Megasloth on the map with either berries or Kibble.
Am I doing something wrong or is my game broken?
I'm on steam, game is on the latest update and I have both Royalty and Ideology.
Was wondering why I couldn't attach my game save... it's 10mb? Is that normal?
