I'm interested in buying the game but I need to know the minimum system requirements. I'm using a laptop. These are my system specs:

Your processor is one generation too old, third generation processors have HD Graphics 4000 which is sufficient -- for now. Requirements are creeping up as the Unity engine is updated.

the problem is currently with the update to version 1.3 the game use a newer Unity engine 2019.4.
Basicly it should be the same requirements like before, but there arn't clear requirements i found for that unity engine.
I saw many reports/issue with older videocards.
Since you prolly use the internal videocard and i can't say if it will work.
When you don't fear to use steam, just buy the game over steam, install it, start it.
When it don't start, refound it.
But be aware, even when it start well, Rimworld will prolly be slow on bigger colonies or when you use alot mods.
