I had the tribute collector show up and got the message that one of the people in the group is the sister of one of my pawns. When checking, neither of them were related.

The caravan is still on map, but I gave them all my gold for tons of honour and killed the gold carrier to get it back. They were not hostile when they entered the map.
I remember having this issue before with a crash lander. Message said it's the mother of one of my colonists, could not carry her in in time (field tending was not possible in that patch) and she bled out. I expected my pawn to be devastated, but on check there was no mood debuff nor a relationship.
Both DLCs, no mods used.
Hey glass_zebra, would you say that the bug you are reporting is basically the same as reported here? One of the commenters reported they had the relationship when they got on the map, but by the time they made it to the base the relationship was lost. I just don't want to duplicate bugs.

Unfortunately I did not look at the two when I got the message. My play was to get 45+ honour and then kill the tribute collector to get the gold back. When I saw the sibling message, I made sure that I could kill them without risking the siblings death. After the death of the collector, I checked for the first time who the sibling was and saw no relationship.
If I see it again and the relationship is not present on spawning, I will just create a new report. You can close this one then, since I have no way of telling if it is a distinct issue.
