I noticed a colonist gettings unhappy very rapidly because she was hungry and in "cramped quarters", but she wouldn't leave the room she was in. After a while, I realized she couldn't figure out how to get out so I had to tear down a wall. I should've done a screenshot, but the room looked something like this IIRC:
_______

__ __

_
With the door being at the bottom "funnel".
Reproduced the room as it was and had no pathing issues.
Was this in rock or made of walls?
was there any greenery on the floor (in the hallway portion)? lamps or potted plants that could have possibly impeeded the path?
Now that you mention it, I believe the room was partially walled and partially enclosed by a cave. All it had was carpet, a lamp, a bed and a door. I want to say the room was probably 3 wide and 3 tall with the corridor leading to the door another 2 tiles down. I didn't think to screenshot or save as I said, so unless the game keeps individual copies of autosaves, I don't know that I can say with certainty the arrangement of the room. I'll try to duplicate when I get a moment to play again. Thanks for taking the time to look into it.
Thank you, this will remain open until you can get a reproduced state.
