Introduction
With this mod I plan to make Rimworld more like our current day 21st century world by adding some of today's weapons, apparel, turrets, floors, walls, and power sources.

About the Mod
This is a mod that I've been working on for the past few weeks in my spare time. The aim of it is simple, add 20th-21st century things to keep your game fresh. Many things are to be added later.

So far I have:
A manned 50. Caliber turret
A cheap generator (must be researched)
Some weapons
Windows that only allow lamp light through
Miniature Geothermal Generator

What I plan to add:
Bomb suit that protects against fire and explosions but not much else
More manned turrets/artillery
More weapons
Walls
Floors
Windows
Apparel
Maybe some events
More research things
Enemies/ more factions

Author's Note
I am only in high school and I do not have a lot of time to work on this, if it doesn't get updated in a while I am studying, procrastinating, or still working on the next update.
If anybody would like to help with coding or texturing send me a private message or reply to this post, I would really appreciate it.

The Project Armory team, this mod wouldn't have been a thought without them or their weapons, some of which are used in this mod.

-Right under this text there should be something that says Modernization.zip
-Click on that and the download should start
-Once downloaded you must extract it
-After you extract the file you should have a folder, put that folder in your mods folder in your Rimworld directory
(The download should always be the latest version, if I forget to add the newest version please notify me)

New walls! Sweet. Maybe add a guard tower that is like a motar but with a mini gun on it. Maybe increased defense?

New things: Windows, miniature geothermal generator, and a few textures redone.

I'll try to do something like that, might take a little while, but I like the idea.
Edit: I think I have a way in my mind to do it, but would you like it manned?

I feel like your going to add a pet a iguana to this mod...........

Hmm... So many ideas.

Are we going to be seeing factions based on modern day armies? If so id like to say that you should try implementing tactics that said goverments use. Also id like to see a faction that can be hired to fight your battles like PMCs today.

Hey Demo if you need some textures, toss me a PM and il get back to you in a few days with results (if possible :P).

I should have the next update out as soon as my internet situation is sorted out. It WILL have bomb suits. Many thanks to Viperlol for the textures.
