Title says it all.
Right now I'm braving the depths in Spelunky. It's so maddeningly difficult and I'm terrible at it but I can't stop playing it. Oh, and a little League of Legends here and there (go Pantheon!)
What about you guys?

Not bad, and promises to be a great game, but at this level there is little content (must have 10 hours of play) and when the terrain is not random, so that the games are equal. Still have not implemented multiplayer. I guess I will need at least to wait a few patches to make it more interesting
Jaka, what's your summoner name for LoL? Are you on NA? We should get some games going =p
Add me, I'm Riot Taco Storm.
That sounds great. I have to head back to work now, but it's a short day that ends for me in about 3 hours. After that, I'm game to do some stomping!
My in game name is Jakadasnake (crazy, I know).
Lately, I've been playing to Dota 2, trying all different heroes against bots. The AI is much developed in Dota 2 than in LoL, that's why I didn't quite like it as much as Dota.
I was a huge fan of the first DotA, but then all my friends started playing Heroes of Newerth. No idea why I switched to League.

Europa Universalis 4, v1.2
Hearts of Iron 3 Finest Hour
Dominions 4
Rome 2, after patch 2 battles are playable now

I played Godus multiplayer the other day with a friend of mine. I thought it was implemented?
Now playing coop games with another friend of mine: Dead Space 3, Magicka, Alien Swarm
and singleplayer: Minecraft and Castle Story
Call of Duty 4 ( for me it's still the best )
Unreal world, a "fantasy Rougelike survivale settled in the Ironage of Finnland" http://www.unrealworld.fi/
X3:TC/AB while i do waiting for X:Rebirth this november from www.Egosoft.com
that's it mostly
here and there a flashgame or something from my "trashbin with ~ 200 issues" aka steamlibary ;)

That's awesome. There's a buddy of mine that I do that with too. I think I streamed an entire co-op lets play of Deadspace 3 and it was an absolute blast. Magicka is a lot of fun too, but a lot more difficult for me. Alien Swarm is also a great time. Good picks, all of them.
Ugh. I would love to get into dwarf fortress but it's just so difficult to jump into, are there any games like df but are easy to jump into?

New one getting ready to come out called RimPlanet or something. Heard it might be decent.
But seriously, I don't think there are a whole lot of user-friendly dwarf fortress type games. I'd recommend checking out FTL if you haven't already. Other than that, for brutally difficult games just get Dark Souls. It's on sale for like 7.50 right now I think.

You can try Towns (http://www.townsgame.com/), it's a mashup between what I understand of Dwarf Fortress and Minecraft. Isometric view, many underground levels filled with dungeons and monsters, building is done cube by cube.
I've played all of the games mentioned, heh, I'm going to have to try and dig into df again.

Well you could consider
Gnomoria as similar and easier accessible due the mouse control
http://gnomoria.com/ there you have to build and survives with gnomes instead of dwarfs and to fight off goblins ... at least in the early development stage it was based up on that. which is mouse driven plus key inputs if i remember right.
if you like to get in touch with keybased games i would suggest
Unrealworld ,well there
many mores indeed but , there is a easy control patter which is accessible over different ways but as sayed on my previous post completely different focus ^^
Well dwarfs fortress seems tobe difficult, just search for some written tutorials and dig up the wiki page. DO small steps, make small goals, internalize good strategies of your own improve your habits and modify them.
A Tileset could help aswell (Masterworks mod for DF can be found in the forums which adds sme buildingds to spice the LATE game and declutter the amount of goods so not 20 different tree types and 120 different rock types just 3 tree types and 10 rock types { as an exaggerated comparison ::), so things will be easier aswell if you don't have to remember thousands of little things(materials) and can focus on real problems } aswell it offers some Embark pre-setups + an automated "basic" castle pattern for starters to have a decent base(Check the Manual of the mod for it ) . good thing with masterworks is you can decide if you like that feature or not and include/ exclude it through a checking box and a hint what it does change as mouse over in a separate UI.

Hm, I'll give that mod a go then, thanks.
I think Timber and Stone (http://www.timberandstonegame.com/) might be a good option as well. 3D voxel type environment and some invasion scenarios. Less digging into a mountain though. More building up a town, medieval setting.
I don't know why, but I can't stand games that look like minecraft but aren't minecraft.
I also have prejudices against voxel-based game, like Ace of Spade, Cube World or [insert the name of a voxel-based game]. But after I remember that it's only a graphics choice, like cell-shading or life-like, I'm usually able to separate titles on their true gameplay value. It still takes me a couple of minutes to set back and appreciate the game for itself.
I'll back Rices up and suggest Gnomoria. It's still in development but its still a great game ,extremely polished (few bugs) and gets weekly updates.
I don't know what happened, but I just got sucked back into Skyrim somehow. Hopefully I find my way out before the weekend's over.

There are many games but there is none like dwarf fortress. No other game will ever get close.
Games like Towns, Gnomoria, Dwarfs and many more have tried.
If you'r there for the production lines go try factorio. If you want a more futuristic df go play maiagame (also alpha)
Even dark souls was easy compared to df
DF is pretty easy once you realize that you can very easily seal off your fortress with a couple levers and bridges. After that, it's only as complicated as you make it. It also helps a lot to go into the config file and turn down max_pop to something like 20. The game becomes a real nightmare past that for a newbie. Then, just make sure you picked a good location for your fort, something with iron and a flux stone at least (coal also very important). Basic ironworking industry is highly important.
There's this thing called "lazy newb pack". Get it. It includes "Dwarf Therapist", which is such a necessity for making the game playable. It gets around a lot of the real PITA aspects of the prehistoric UI for managing your dwarves.

My main hard drive failed, so only limited to my SSD right now. So playing Skyrim, Terraria, and Prison Architect mostly until I get more hard drive space.
I found this nice little game named Pirates! on my steam accound and have been playing it for the last two days..
Attack ship with cannons, enter ship and fight with the enemy captain. Plunder and capture cities. Rinse and repeat..
Oh the good old days, where the games were so simple ;D
Reloaded Dead Space 1 for another run through. Man, they did such an amazing job with this one - quite immersive atmosphere. If you see it on sale for cheap, I would highly recommend it.
As for Dwarf Fortress, the best description of starting out that I read went like this - you will play for 5 minutes, want to do something, and spend the next 30 minutes reading the wiki/forums to figure out how to do it. Then you'll play for another 5 min, and have to spend another 30 minutes figuring out how it works. It has a really steep learning curve, but once you get things down a bit, it is quite fun. Also, tilesets help a lot, instead of using ASCII.

I have that on the PSP, never knew it was on the pc, I might just buy it.
I've also been playing an indie game called The Red Solstice, it's a top downish shooter that's in alpha, quite fun if I do say so myself.
I have a few games I'm cooking on the stove..whilst I wait:
Europa Universalis IV http://www.europauniversalis4.com/
Rogue Legacy http://roguelegacy.com/
Terraria http://www.terraria.org/
Fallen Enchantress:Legendary Heroes http://elementalgame.com/legendary-heroes
steam marines
dunno why but roguelikes got something
I finished Legend of Grimrock yesterday, and am working on Hard Reset (finally, a game that works my graphics card a little). And of course, I'm still doing my Prison Architect and RimWorld videos.
I'm kind of torn on what to play after I finish Hard Reset. Should I install Battlefield 3?
FTL: Faster Than Light (//http://) continues to be my most played game this year.
Eventually I need to finish Clark (http://www.indiedb.com/games/clark) and Fez (http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Fez_(video_game)).
I'm going to be plating Team Fortress 2, Terraria, The Darkness 2 and soon I'll be plating Starcraft 2 as Well.
Besides... I will be making homework as well... Sommetime soon...
I review games for my blog so I got a lot of games to keep me occupied. Right now I playing through Mercenary Kings for review, and Fancy Skulls/the Risk of Rain demo for enjoyment
delve deeper atm.
can be a fun strategy game while trying to sober up
I bought Shadow Warrior yesterday... I'm wondering if I will see the sunlight again one day, so much fun !
I dived into Space Colony HD, which I bought a while ago, but hadn't played the HD version so far. No I idea why I was feeling the urge to play it now :P
Its holding up really well with the HD version. Its all on hostile planets without air and in a isometric view, so its different then Rimworld in that regard. It does have a lot of people management though, with them having really quirky characters. Weird though when I want to zoom, it doesn't really let me... oh its 2d :P A nice distraction while waiting for Rimworld.
Rimworld is promising to be far more free-form and random, which is what I really want. Still I'm not a Youtube video-producer so I'll have to wait for a bit. :)
Goes off to watch kettle boil :P

you could try and do something weird and thats behave like a normal citizen within the game
obey all rules even the trafic ones
I tend to finish games unless they're pretty bad (or I pull a "so bored, can't concentrate" and stop playing without planning to).
Still, there's something to be said for not throwing good time after bad money.
Long ago I did tend to try and finish things like movies, books games.
Now though with free time at a premium... why bother with something you don't enjoy. If a movie, book, game ect is not keeping me interested, I drop it. That's not to say its an inferior product all the time, its just not for me.
The ability to step way from things made me a lot happier.

Already did that. I towed a car on a crossing while the train was approaching, I saved it, and the guy thanked me. I also brought back 4 wallets, a bicycle and a motorbike to their respective owners. Finally, I had to use a bulldozer to save a construction worker from his truck about to blow up.
And like I said, the heists are fun. The rest doesn't make any sense, but not in a good way like Saints Row does.
if all else fails.
I can still advice factorio.
It's worth its buck imho
Right now?
Space Rangers HD
I'm mostly playing Path of Exile, WH 40k Space Marine, Europa Universalis 4 and Space Pirates and Zombies.
KSP, Project Zomboid, Gta Iv ect.
Mtgo, DF, WC3:tft, etc (some terraria)
Factorio 0.8 when it releases this week (-:
And dungeons of dredmore a simple game wich has lots of fun stuff and especially skills and items to offer.
Dwarf Fortress.
What else?
Now playing 1,000,000 modded versions of Civ4 BTS, and also a replay of Fallout Tactics, and Fallout NV.

The idea had potential, but that terrain modifying tool is atrocious. And there is far too much micromanagement involving the mana collection. And there are plenty of glitches.

I normally am playing two games at once (but not simultaneously :)) - one which I can jump in and out of quickly (minutes at a time), and another which requires more time commitment but usually is a richer experience. For the last half year Rimworld has dominated the latter category, so the suggestions below are mostly from the former...
Door Kickers - very fun SWAT "sim". Its success is in doing one thing (managing a team top down) extremely well. Each level only takes tens of seconds to complete, assuming you know how to execute properly, but there can be tens of minutes of trial and error to figure out what combination of men, equipment and tactics nets the perfect raid. Having a blast with this so far and I imagine it will remain a fun game to revisit in the future, given it looks like player and official levels are coming out still.
Faster Than Light - a few years late, but still pretty fun, although I think the RNG is a bit too heavy for me to stick with it over the long term.
Banished - dethroned RimWorld for awhile. The Colonial Charter mod takes the game in a similar direction as Superior Crafting in RimWorld. A fun challenge until you figure all the mechanics out perfectly, after which it doesn't have quite the same personality as RimWorld to keep drawing me back in. Still, well worth the price for the amount of time I enjoyed it.
Hotline Miami - again, a great 5-minute diversion game. Not as enthusiastic about this as Door Kickers, but it still has its charm.
Prison Architect - while the style/theme is totally different, my feelings about this game are very similar to Banished - worth the price, but a bit boring after you figure the mechanics out. Still, got a few good weeks out of it.
Sunless Sea - a rougelike/RPG that you can play for a few minutes at a time, which is rare. That said, as much as I love the atmosphere and writing the gameplay itself can be boring, so maybe that's why I can tear myself away after 5-10 minutes...
Cities Skylines - 2nd biggest timesink since purchasing RimWorld. Cooled off on it after about 50 hours, but I think it will be a game I manage to squeeze another 20 hours of per year for quite some time.
Distant Worlds - biggest timesink before RimWorld. The definitive space 4X if you are willing to invest in the extremely steep learning curve. I burned about 120 hours on 2 games. Another that I will probably visit for one 20+ hour playthrough per year (unless they make a worth sequel - fingers crossed!).
Europa Universalis IV - got this on a good deal recently. I haven't actually played this yet, although I get the feeling that if I learn enough about the controls/UI I will enjoy it as much as Distant Worlds/Civ/etc. That said, I couldn't get into Crusader Kings II despite expecting to love it, so I'm hoping the shift from individual rulers to nation-states does the trick (I think it will).
Pillars of Eternity/Divinity Original Sin - again, haven't played (or even bought) these yet, but they are a very likely purchase something this year, as I loved the Fallout/Planescape games. Mostly waiting for a good time (free-time wise) to make the dive into these monsters...
Besides RimWorld what else is everyone playing recently?
Been playing a few games recently in-between Rimworld sessions
S.T.A.L.K.E.R COP Misery v2.1
S.T.A.L.K.E.R Lost Alpha 1.3003
Bit of Anno 2070
bit of Galactic Civilizations 3
bit of Stardrive 2
and recently got into Running with rifles, it's a dangerous habit, may poke an eye out. ;)
Kerbal Space Program (http://store.steampowered.com/app/220200/) ;D
Recently came out of beta for a full release on Steam, though still has a few unresolved issues. Got a steep learning curve, but worth every minute you put into the game. Has some great mods out for it as well, but can easily crash because of the 32bit memory limit if you're not too careful.
Skyrim, because of some recent mods: Purity(complete graphics environment overhaul), Expanded towns and cities, updates on the big three follower mods, and various others giving the game somewhat of a fresh feel again.
I have been playing TONS of Xcom enemy unknown, 200hours +. Once I complete it I will move on to Xcom Enemy Within which changes soo much and makes the game very interesting
