Title: Empyrion, to Back or not to Back...
Post by: Mattorious on November 14, 2014, 12:35:53 PM
Here's the deal, I've been tracking this game pretty much ever since it's arrival on Kickstarter, and it looks really cool (Think Space Engineers, but with AI and Planets), but I'm still on the fence on this one.

For one, it seems too ambitious, so ambitious, In fact, that I'm not even sure it'll make it past kickstarter. They've asked for £50,000, and so far, with only 13 days to go, have made about £13,330. Do you think that this will gain enough traction to end up getting that £50,000 in 13 days? I've seen games asking for less than that, with more time, not make it through, so I highly doubt this will end up making enough money.

Here's the game in question:

Plus, I've been a little apprehensive about backing Kickstarter games since Planetary Annihilation...

Idk, what you guys think?

When in doubt take your 7 to the coffee shop instead!

i would not, just because i don't think it would get funded in time, and there are just too many space games like that one...
