Ive been using winzip for a while but my trial has ended. It was a good service but not worth the $30 in my opinion. Any suggestions?

7Zip works, though I've never known WinZip to ever deny you the ability to use it. Only that the trial expiration message always pops up and can be dismissed.
I second the suggestion to use 7-zip.
Personally I use Total Commander (http://www.ghisler.com/), it's shareware, so it has a nag screen when starting up.
7zip is also good.
7Zip or Jzip, I'd recommend either.

I use winrar 3.8 (trial eternal, just nags), 7zip (freeware).
there are other archive manager programs, but these two seem to cover almost all file formats and have not given me any issues yet
