I personally don't like the autosave feature,i like to save myself the game.The most annoyng thing is when you test a mod in the game after some time the game autosave and a faction base of your colony will be created on the map,and currently no wway to remove it.

If it were not for autosave, many many many more tears would have been shed, and tables flipped. It's one of those things that can either save you from a terrible screw-up, or screw you over. For me, mostly, it's saved me from my herp-derps... not that I make too many of them. >_>

I'm with Syvera on this one. We have enough autosaves and they are nicely apart to prevent screw ups. Worlds are cheap to generate so it's only a minor down. Also i'm pretty sure you can deactivate autosaves somewhere, if you want.
