It's generated so many wonderful moments.
For instance, I had a raiding party assault my colony before I could fully repair the damage done to my killbox. Had my two best fighters back-up the turrets. I always thought that they must of become pretty good buddies, maybe even more so than other colonists as they were both 'Too Smart' for the rest of the colony. Well I hate to say it, but things went horribly during the raid and the pirates decided to kidnap Eddie and Samantha both.
Other than for Eddie's sake, I could have cared less about Samantha. She was such a needy colonist and frankly, I was considering getting rid of her myself. She was always nearing a mental break and complaining about having no work to do. I tried to save her but didn't really care when they took her.
Eddie however, was different. He was a founder and viewed as a hero to my colony (still is). He saved countless lives before Samantha even arrived from out of her Crypto sarcophagi. Losing Eddie would have been devastating to the colonies morale and my own. I could not let them take him.
I sent three nearby colonists to recover him, one of which was thankfully a fast-walker. The fast one managed to chase them down, and slow the thief enough that my other two colonists could catch up. Eddie and the swine literally made it an inch within the maps borders when finally, we managed to knock her down. Eddie was rushed back home for treatment as a war-hero. The thief however was not so lucky. The colonists (and I) decided she deserved punishment for her crimes and was sentenced to immediate death.
Here's her grave now. We make sure to keep it stocked with the corpses of snakes. Seems a fitting end for her. I would say rest in peace, but my hope is, that she isn't.
Also, here's another grave for my beloved colonist Taisia. We had an untimely mech raid which left every one of my colonists wounded (including Taisia). She sacrificed her own life to treat the other colonists before herself. It was because of this that she developed an infection in her torso and although we tried to save her, she didn't make it.
I miss her so much. She was literally the best colonist I have ever had, being both Sanguine and a Jogger (with a high shooting skill). I would trade any colonist (except Eddie) to get her back. RIP Taisia. RIP.

It's the ones you love that hurt you the most.
It really really is. The other day, Eddie had a mental breakdown. We wound up capturing him and in the ensuing violence, he died. That tore me up.
whats the mod or thing that changes the icons of your items and stuff
I like the idea of keeping someones graves stacked high with snake corpses. It seems so satisfying.
