Now im not sure why but, the weapons deck pod does not appear. The message pops up saying its coming but it doesnt show. I am running rimworld with lessincidenttrolling, Prison Improvements, Prepare Carefully, Horrors, Meteorite, Razorrain, EdB interface, mods. Not sure what could be causing the problem. And when it comes to the horrors mod it helps to have more weapons.

This is my first time to ever post a story. Please let me know if you like it. If i receive enough positive feed back. I will continue writing it. Thank You. (P.S. Its a bit violent and there is some language.)

Fallen Angel
Intro

   Audio Log 0213
   â€œThis is Captain Green of the Sparrow Class Vessel, “Angel”. We are about one hundred thousand kilometers away from target planet “Valkyrie II”. Once the Angel enters orbit, Order two four seven shall commence, launching probes Bravo through Lima to map the planet thoroughly. If there are no immediate threats found we will proceed to designated coordinates and dump the Artifact via drop pod. When drop pod touch down is confirmed, the Angel will land on Valkyrie III. The crew and I will then proceed to setup the two year long observation outpost to see the effects that The Artifact has on Valkyrie II.”
   End Log.
   I lean out of my chair and turn off the audio recorder. Finally I can rid myself of that damn Artifact. It has been nothing but trouble. Every time I go near that thing I hear whispers, just quiet enough to where I can't tell what is said. Jackson reports seeing the shadows move near the plasteel crate that houses it. Colt even had a mental breakdown saying it was telling him to open the air lock. It was a stroke of luck that the we caught him in time before he could depressurize the whole observation deck. Bottom line, I want that thing off of my ship.
   Well I guess I better wake the crew. We'll be in orbit within the hour, and nobody just shrugs off cryptosleep sickness. “Sarah”, I call out.
   â€œYes Captain Green?” the ship's AI replies
   â€œBegin the thawing process on the crew. Once they are able have them come to the bridge.”
   â€œRight Away Captain”
   â€œAlso open up the armory”
   â€œExpecting trouble sir?”
   â€œWhen it comes to that evil thing... Always.”
   After twenty or so minutes. I'm looking at a bleary eyed crew of ten, all of which look like they would much rather be somewhere else. Honestly I can't blame them.
   â€œColt how are you doing?”
   â€œI'm fine Captain,” he says with a shaky smile “no more voices.”
   â€œGlad to hear.” I turn to the rest of the crew “Now as you may expect from the rude awakening we have arrived in the Valkyrie System. We are currently about thirty minutes from Valkyrie II. All that is left to do is to get the Artifact to a cargo pod.” I watched as a flash of fear pass through my crew. “Yes I know you may have concerns but this needs to happen. If it makes you feel any better I have unlocked the armory. Gear up and meet me in the cargo bay in ten minutes.”
   As they file out, I turn back to the captain's display and place my key card into the port. A ding resonates through the bridge, as the compartment below the monitor opens up revealing my pride and joy, Sally. The ancient pattern forty four revolver could tear holes in just about anything, not to mention the deadly payload of plasteel slugs she carries. I thumb open the cylinder to see if I have full ammo. Happy with the fact that I do I grab the extra boxes of shells and throw them in my bag.
   Passing through the hallway to the elevator I suddenly get an uneasy feeling. “Sarah.”.
   â€œYes Captain?”
   â€œActivate all sentry turrets in the cargo bay, and prepare the drop sequence for pod forty eight.”
   â€œYes sir. Might I suggest the Behemoth's activation?”
   â€œI think the crew and I can handle it.”
   

   As soon as I press the button that reads“Cargo Bay”, the elevator lurches down at a stomach churning speed. The five seconds it took left me nauseated, but I managed to hold the few contents of my stomach down. Down the hallway Desmond stood, along with the rest of the crew, M16s at the ready. Laser weapons are just way to expensive. Once I joined them we proceeded to the cavernous cargo bay. The air was lukewarm, yet as we got closer to the Artifact's container the temperature seemed to drop. Outside the containment room everybody stood guns at the ready as Colt inched to the door. His hand just about to disengage the hydraulic lock when I heard the faintest sound of a scrape resound from the door. “Did you hear that?” I whispered loudly.
   â€œOh Captain please don't play games with me”
   â€œColt don't open...” that was all that I got to say before Colt opened the hatch, and two scythe like blades protruded from his back. Time seemed to slow as the blades arced away from each other leaving Colt in two gory halves. From the dark recesses of the container a serpentine head with scales that appeared to be living shadow, suddenly lashed out grabbing Sylvia by the throat pulling her flying into the container. By this time Jargon and Desmond had begun discharging rounds into the dark room. A chorus of demonic screams that would make Lucifer proud tore at my eardrums from the dark abyss. That is when all hell broke loose.
   A creature the size of a horse lumbers out of the dark. Six long legs hold up a centaur like armored carapace. Two arms end in the six foot blades that had, only seconds earlier, claimed Colts life. The worst part by far was the serpent like head that stole Sylvia. Fangs the size of daggers, scales made of what looks like living shadow, and empty sockets filled with blue flames. Those eyes turn towards  me, and giving a terrifying shriek, the demon lunges. I level Sally, blasting a round into the head of the giant shadow creature which collapses into a heap a couple of inches from my feet. Looking up I see another dead creature a few feet from Jargon's headless body. Demons are spewing from the container. Desmond is about to have his turn in the afterlife, but not before I drop the demon pursuing him. “Retreat” I scream.
   Turning I make a run for the hallway leading to the elevator. Desmond keeps stride with me blasting a demon in the head who was feasting on the gory remains of Alan. I unleash Sally's wrath into a creature that had just opened Mary from ear to throat seconds ago. I scoop up her M16, and with a desperate push, rocket into the elevator just as the sentry turrets roar to life. Looking back I see the demons chasing Ned and Emily cut down, and they make it safely into the elevator. While Jericho made it in here too, even though I never saw him. Where the hell is Amy?
   Then I see her, running from literal hell. At least a dozen demons are gaining ground. Quickly I push a few buttons on my command gauntlet, and the sentry turrets turn releasing an unrelenting swarm of bullets. Amy leaps into elevator. Once she crosses the threshold I slam the drop bay button. As we lurch downward the elevator jolts from above. Suddenly two scythes protrude from the elevator ceiling, and we each blast half a magazine into the demon above. By then, the elevator stops, the doors sliding open. Well all scramble out, gunning for an escape pod. I latch myself in and pull the hatch closed. My hands fly as I type in the launch sequence, as soon my fingers hits enter, a dull thud sounds and then silence.
   Looking up through the view port, past the other pods I see the Angel. Long dark tendrils extend from her starboard side in a dark bouquet. Two of her five engines are obliterated, spewing blue flames. Then she hits the atmosphere giving her a fiery halo. She was my everything that ship, but now she is a Fallen Angel.

im thinking acidic rain that can damage your buildings, and for even more fun hail that damages colonist ;)

Now i dont mean to be a downer, but i was thinking for those people who want to amp up the difficulty maybe a suicide bot that explodes much like a turret. Except it hunts walls and your defenses 8)

I am so looking foward to the completed version of this mod. Starship Troopers is one of my favorite movies ;D

Hahahahahahahahaha just for a warning 120+ crawler drop squad. I dont have a base anymore ;)
