I think it'd be sweet if once or twice a year you'd get a direct message from the story teller. They'd ramp up good, bad or a mix of both events during the next week or two. It'd make the story tellers feel more alive.
I personally love getting raided and it'd be awesome if the same intensity of onslaught you get during a ship launch/royal launch can happen during these special random events.
