Wasn't exactly sure if to put this here or in mod bugs, but given that its a problem with the base games support of mods rather then any specific mod I figured here would be better.

But basically any time an appearance mod updates to add more hairstyles, whatever system that is used to store the preferred hairstyles of an ideology gets offset by that many extra hairstyles as they automatically populate the list and push the existing ones about.... this can be a bit problematic for factions that are tied to specifc tags to get a specific style identity, since the new list wont use the tags to make sure things are in the right place like the pre-1.3 system did.

Basically it would just be nice if the list didn't get offset every time an author feels like adding something new.

Mods / Recovering prostetics from dead pawns?

Is there any reason we cant recover organs and prognostics from freshly dead pawns? If it is just balance would it be possible to make a mod to allow this?

With some of the hyper expensive bionics that mods can add, it would b nice if you could salvage them from some one who died.

Would it be possible with the new pet system so that when a mechanoid is incapacitated instead of destroyed, have a mod that allows you to haul it back to the workbench for "reprogramming" that will turn it into a pet?

Basically a big metal attack dog?

Help / Adding custom races and backstories.

If I wanted to add new back-stories to character generation, or some new races(that will probably work like re-flavored humans) how would I go about doing this?

I tried looking into how Mechanical Defense, and MAI work to figure this out, but it was not much help.
