I want to re-install the game as there's something wrong with the sound, but I've lost the email. Is there any other way to re-install it?

When I load up my game there is no sound. I've checked all the settings and the sound should be on. When I check sound Mixer it's not even there! I know this isn't related but Dolby Home Theatre has sound problems as well. Perhaps the two problems are linked. I've just updated to Windows 8.1 and had my laptop scanned for viruses. There was one but it was safely contained and removed. And responses are appreciated.
