Mod bugs / UI Disappears (probably some mod)

Hello,

I am running quite a few mods in my current game and my UI seems to randomly disappear. I have yet not been able to pinpoint why and going through and disabling mods to test is hard since I can't reliably reproduce it.

Anyone have any idea on how to either debug this or which mod it could be?

General Discussion / What happened to uranium?

You used to be able to trade for uranium with traders, now it seems the traders don't carry any raw uranium anymore. The only thing I found was the odd uranium table or statue that I could buy. Does anyone know if this is an intended change and if so how are we realistically supposed to get uranium now if we get unlucky and our map doesn't have any. Personally I got one uranium sculpture out of about 20~ traders.

General Discussion / Deep drills worthless?

So I tested deep drilling again properly for the first time and it seems to be completely worthless. First of all you pay a lot to build the scanner (300 steel, 12 component), then you build a drill (25 steel, 2 component as you get rest back on deconstruct) and the drill can at most get 9 things out of the ground. In my case I got silver so I got 675 silver. This hardly seems worth it to me specially since the drill can't be moved

Anyone found a way to make deep drilling worth it or is it just utterly pointless?

I have a save I have been playing on for a few days with a few mods. Today a small patch was released on steam which completely broke my save.

When I get into the game the loading box doesn't disappear and the game lags horribly, I get something like 2 fps or so.

So in short, does anyone know if it is possible to rollback the latest steam patch?

I noticed something that didn't make sense to me, I got a character with Cataract on both eyes (-35% sight).

Now what I find weird is the calculation used, I got -35% vision in both eyes, but my total ends up at 30%.

Obviously this happens because both subtractions are added up and just subtracted from 100% vision. But this makes no sense, if I got 65% vision on both eyes my total should be 65% vision, not 30%.

In other words, the way overall sight is calculated at the moment seems wrong to me.

Ideas / Red crosses on medicine

This is not so much a suggestion as a heads up, as I am sure some of you may be aware prison architect got in a bit of "trouble" about a month ago because of their usage of the red cross in their game. Rimworld currently uses a red cross for all it's medicine, it might be a good idea to change this so you aren't breaking the geneva convention.

General Discussion / Why are all my huskies alcoholics?

So recently in my colony I started producing beer. This was shortly after I started breeding huskies for hauling, after a few days I noticed a lot of the produced beer got drank. Like A LOT of it.

Yet when I checked all my colonists, they weren't drunk at all. Checked the huskies...

What the hell? They actually seem to prefer beer over other food, this means that one day old puppies somehow crawl their way into the stockpile, open a beer bottle and get drunk.

I think a change would be good where animals did not go for the booze as a primary food source.
