Hello Ludeon Studios team,

I am a casual hardcore player (mainly hardcore sk) player who firmly believe in hard difficulty being actually hard where your chance of beating it is very low (Probably why I laugh at all the people who cry about the game being too hard on reddit).

I watch a lot of Korean RimWorld streamers who like to take it to extreme levels for example on Twitch - EastAress, Goagain2001, Cji10.

I am nowhere near the level of these players but these players play on intense permadeath mode with restrictions such as no turrets, no traps and often melee only, and they usually start with no items or at least no additional items (and other countless restrictions) but seeing those three beat these insane settings amazes me and I just want to see how far the game can push them.

I thought that might be fun to require materials to repair walls and doors to make the game significantly more difficult yet logical (if you think this is too much, someone will make a mod removing the requirement - OR if you can include this as an option under permadeath?).

It sounded fun and I wanted to ask if you plan to ever implement this extremity (we like to make the game as hard as possible and put hardcore setups and love our planets exploding).

I believe you have gotten some save files from some of them already and fixed certain parts that you didn't intend to work certain ways but anyways please feel free to check those streamers out too :) they're really good at rimworld :) (you might run into some language barrier since they mainly speak korean but it'll be nice :D

I also would love to help translate things for them if you ever need to chat with them.

Thank you :)

Circumstance: Unmodded, new game

What happened: Bought some pemmican from the vendors and the food is said to expire in 2 days

What I expected: last way longer than 2 days (can't seem to remember nor find out any info if it actually has a rot duration or not since I normally never look at that since its pemmican)

Steps to reproduce: make or summon pemmican

summoning them seems to say 1 season - which means the merchants brought near rotted food?
plus is it supposed to be 1 season?

thank you
