Same! I'm going west to east, my current base a temperate forest at the edge of the desert (the ship is at the desert) with 10 colonists and some 30 animals.

I made the mistake of going straight to the ship after my second base, without enough food everyone was going crazy and dying. I reloaded an earlier save, using said third base as a launchpoint and farmland for the ship.

What's annoying about the ship is that when you arrive, your animals and colonist don't automatically unload everything. Will need to spend at least 2 years making a proper fort for the ship!

Labor of Love should be given to games that have been supported forever. Rimworld doesn't fit this category. Do you give any game that just came out early access a pass despite how many years it was worked on?

According to Twitter it's mostly resolution fixes for Mac and some bugfixes.

NOW if he could make Deconstruct the second top priority in Construction that'd be great too!

And installing/uninstalling should also be under basic.

Btw Mehni, those unique traders that want to buy X material like clothes? You can't dismiss them after you sell your stuff. So it's a two mod issue in this case.

I don't understand how melee is not viable. It's even more viable here than before, because armor matters a heck lot more.

Anyway, I don't. I can't be bothered to change clothing all the time. With the exception of maybe power armor early game, people wear whatever they want and my heavy hitters wear plate/marine armor when there's a horde of squirrels or something.

So in my current run, for some reason, the 'stock up' option isn't available in the gear tab. I'm not sure why.

While I'm sad that you're no longer supporting this mod, I'd be lying if I didn't tell had a hell of a time of it. It has earned a permanent spot in my load order.

On More Faction Interaction:

So my main goal for this one campaign was to launch the ship, but as time moved on, the raider bases in the east grew. Outpost after outpost, upgrading into full base until there were a dozen of them in a neat cluster of boreal forest and frozen swamp. By middle of the third year of my boreal forest run, I decided "my end goal is to literally wipe this cluster off the map."

And it took three years to do so. The last three bases were nearby, so I decided to raid them. When I finished one, funnily enough an outpost was placed RIGHT on top of my commando squad. While not game breaking, it was strange and gave me a good laugh. I wiped out the rest of the two and made my way home.

BUT WAIT, one outpost in this now barren Raiderstan just pop up when I nearly reached back my base. Now I did go back and finish it off, so the only other pirate bases in the area was like 15 days away in the north pole. Now I've more or less done with this mod, but in the event I let time pass, will these outposts prop up again in the area in the future?

It's also somewhat, well, unfulfilling, to finish off a base only for a raid to happen 2 days later. I realise this is a Rimworld problem and not exactly a More Factions problem, but is there a way perhaps to bump off the raid event if you do finish off a base?

I've had two miniguns on a shelf at my bunker for a while, and gave them to my better shooters. I feel miniguns miss WAY too much for all the firepower they pour out. They do more damage to my walls than the enemy. Really, it might be better to churn out charge rifles and ARs. At least they have a bigger tendency to hit.

And yes, my killbox pretty much puts them into a long corridor. Still can't hit the broadside of a barn.

I recommend putting some firefoam poppers at your bunker, this would at the very least prevent fire from spreading any further.

But other than that, I too am unsure how you would take on centipedes. There's only so much firepower you can throw at them.
