Something you should add (just cause every starwars fan wants one) is lightsabers, soon hopefully.  Make them do MASSIVE damage but also you have to craft them and it takes a crafting of like 18.  Components would be 1xCrystal, and a handfull of metal (cause lets be honest, they arent big or heavy) and worktime would be like 2 min of solid work to assemble it (at least)

Nah i just send them out the front door normally, but most of the time it doesnt work.

So replying cause you said too, i use the heaters mainly but i also really only play in the Ice Sheet Biome so there is no need for anything to cool with.

Guys, i don't mean to be a dick about it but you really need to read before you start asking for updates, literally 5 posts before this one he said it will be a week or so.

See, when they do that you turn the temp way down and get Vikingcicles.  I do this on my Ice Sheet map and i get soo much stuff from stupid npc's letting me kill them without triggering hostilities.

So i have found out you cant turn omnigel into metal (didnt try other stuff yet, i will update this post if i find it doesnt work).

I tried that and it didn't work.  I even kept them out till they were hypothermic (serious) and still no effect on it.  I think that it only goes away if they go out on their own and not under your control.

Yeah i know, i think its kinda funny though how people still try and visit you (or raid you) when they die before they can even get close.  And with the sitting in your home for 2/3 of the year, just make sure you keep your guys really happy to offset the cabin fever penalty.

Looks awesome and thanks for tossing me credit.  I didn't expect it for a small idea like that.  Oh and how much stronger is the new Industrial Heater?  I hope at least twice as strong if not more.

I commented on the thread and am the one who brought up the electricity using ones lol.  I am talking about more powerful heating methods though.  so i can heat my mines without having 50 heaters (or 500 of your floor tiles).

So any possibility of making a mod that adds more heating/cooling devices?  It's pretty much impossible to heat/cool large spaces without needing a ridiculous amount of devices to do it.

Man i had so many corpses built up from the winter months that my 15x15 stockpile for them exclusivly was full before even half had been gathered.  It really does get broken in the really cold parts.  That and your colonists cant go more than 20 spaces outside before hypothermia starts getting bad so you pretty much are holed up in your home for 2/3 of the year.
