I've just gotten toxic fallout + volcanic winter at the same time on my ice sheet colony and one of the two actually seemed to make it warmer. I actually had corpses start rotting in the fields while my colonists were trapped inside by the fallout.

Yeah, it would be interesting with the new long-lasting events, the ash and the fallout, if there was biomes for it. A volcano could be on a certain biome, which would mean you couldn't play on it, but you could play on the side ones. It would have more common ash events, and possible lava, which would be like water but give off heat. And the fallout would just be a radiated biome, so it would ALWAYS be a toxic fallout.
