Ideas / Tweaking the slave trade?

I was curious as to why no slave traders no longer appeared, and then I found out that they stop coming after you've reached a certain population to make it harder to grow. While I agree with the reason behind it, I feel that it could be changed a bit.

There are now numerous ways to make money in the game, but slave trading is by far the most fun compared to crafting and loot selling! While being sieged and assaulted can be very dangerous, it's a great opportunity to make money by trying to capture, healing and then selling the bastards as slaves. Because this seemed so fun to me, I had set up a fine prison with tables, chairs, decoration and fancy carpets and a high standard medical ward for prisoners only. But now that slave traders no longer visit me, I feel so cruel when using my awesome prison and medical ward just to harvest organs. Just seems so cruel! :(

Therefore, my suggestion is to make a tweak to the slave traders: have them arrive randomly, just as the other ships, but make them (at a certain point) no longer sell slaves while still buying them!

I like the content that came with alpha 6, but some balancing to the waves would be nice to see soon. Also, I wish you could buy clothes, armor and those fancy cowboy hats from ships passing by!

Oh, also, for the life of me I can't get F11 to take screenshots. I don't know what the problem is. I was trying to take a screenshot to show my plight, but F11... it does nothing!

PrtScn and Ctrl+V in MsPaint works too until this have been solved!

General Discussion / Best indie game ever!

After seeing Sips' little playthrough of Rimworld I decided to buy the game. It's not the first time I buy games after watching his videos. I've also bought Towns and Prison Architect long ago thanks to him.

I've played Rimworld for 3 days straight now and it's really great! I first tried it on chill callie classic a couple of times, but I got wrecked after about 100 days in. ;D Then I switched to phoebe friendly and that was too easy! Lastly I tried randy random and that was just as difficult as the first one. Im aware that it's gonna be balanced in future, but I hope some of the challange will remain though! The combat feels really rewarding!

Anyways, I decided to quit and come back once ludeon have progressed some more on the game. But first I just wanted to express how much I enjoyed the game and I'm really looking forward to see what it's gonna turn into! I hope you keep borrowing ideas from other games regarding combat abilities and roleplaying immersion!
