build sand bags around it for your men to shoot from. also get to it as fast as you can, same with the besiegers

i happen to be playing on the largest map, i only see 4 steam vents but only 2 are close by.

First i'd like to say that this game is Very well done already for being in the alpha stages, much better then just about every indie developer i've seen. Cheers to that.

That's now what i wrote this to ask/talk about though.

I was wondering if anyone has just dug into the mountains to find minerals and found any? Like, without them showing on the edges first.
