While what you say is true, it wasn't my intention on sounding like that.

The post linked did clarify the situation. But those new to the game can't help but see the identicality of certain things that look to be ripped from other games, especially when the front page of the website highlights the fact they have made half a million dollars funding.

As I said before, forgive me for any misunderstanding, it is pre-alpha builds and hopefully Ty and Crew create lots of unique, fun content to play around with in the future.

I've recently purchased the game, played it few a few hours now and really enjoy it. However, I can't help but notice how similar the game play is to Prison Architect, even more so the game assets look like they are ripped directly from it. I saw that Ty said somewhere all artwork and such was his own until more professional folk were working on it, but it looks to me like the objects and pulled straight from Prison Architect, not to mention the game play.

Forgive me if I'm wrong, but is there any clarification as to any of this? Considering the Kickstarter has pulled half a million dollars, surely Ludeon could of come up with something unique and their own?

I know it is pre-alpha, but I just wanted some closure on whether the assets are from said game, with permission for use or something entirely different.
