Latta started the mod, but due to unfortunate things the very last update to this mod was done by 1000101, and they were answering the most recent bug questions as well.
Im sure Latta will still have to give the final say, but that may take a very long time, and who knows unless you try.

Tried to self update as well... failed hard hahaha, oh well... hope this gets pushed up soon, its the only one im waiting on right now.

I know Latta is going through some issues (from reading this forums), have you tried to contact the members helping with the mod?

I was thinking about your texture for the soil, and I know you said you didnt like it. You were going for a potted soil look and thats a good idea, what i think (just opinions trying to help) you could do to break up the blackness is maybe add small white specks into the sprite. This would break up the deep color you get when the textures combine and its present in the "potting soil" you buy. To retain mosture and feed the plants.
Another idea i had was maybe a mulch look?

Ahh thats the trick, im still using 1.5
Thank you, for some reason i didnt even think to check the versions and see if there is an update. Hard to keep up with that when you have about 46 mods you load in and play with.

Hey Skully, Love your mods, but I wanted to give you a heads up. I was reading through here and saw that someone had an issue with your medieval shields. I too have this issue.
If a pawn spawns off screen with a shield equiped and walks into the zone its nothing but a big pink square. One the pawn is killed and one of my pawns equips the shield it turns into the correct sprite.
I have had this happen to me on 3 occasions now. If it matters they are 2 steel and 1 uranium, they were all round shields as well.

No Shine?
Once you throw in the Still, you should be able to distill just about anything into Shine, of course with time.

The extended woodworking appears to only yield "Generic Wood" when cutting the new trees. I can see the new options in the floors and so on, but i can only yield "Generic Wood"

I really enjoy this mod and check it regularly, so thank you for a great great great mod. Gives some flare to an infant area of the game.
My input for the industrial things. I think they should be large. maybe 2x1 or 2x2 even. Thats my opinion. Something that looks like it should probably be outside. Maybe even consider that for the heater, make it similar to the cooler and make them walled.
It would be interesting to see if there is a way to code some of the furnaces like the crematorium to throw heat (even intense heat) as well, or some of the work stations like the slag smelter.

Suggestions for new ideas: In the vein of the wood burning stove, how about a fireplace?

Bugs / (0.8.657) Old Bug Came Back (Load Times)

I ran into a bug that the game takes an incredible amount of time to load. Then when i load up the mod screen it takes even longer. Long enough that i had to force close the game.
While looking for a solution I ran into this post https://ludeon.com/mantis/view.php?id=506
This problem happened way back in alpha 3 of the game and it looked like it was fixed, but it wasnt. To solve the issue I went into the network settings on my PC and disabled a "TAP-Windows Adapter V9" (has to deal with VPNs). Now the game works like a charm. Takes only seconds for the game to load up.
So i wanted to bring this to your attention and maybe get you more information so perhaps you can squash this bug once and for all

Great game by the way! I love where this game is going, and want to help it grow in any way i can.
