The thing with armor is that it is designed more to deflect, or spread the impact over a larger area.

With some form of ammunition, that deflection or spreading of impact is minimal. With a club of whatever material, the initial impact area is vastly larger than the impact of a shell.

if so, will the cost be static, or dynamic depending on the weapon repaired and how damaged it was prior to repairs?

Another way to do it could possibly make the cost ever increasing each time you repair that particular tool.

I.e. you can only duct tape a tool together so many times before it's just completely duct tape.

I understand the reasoning for it, and I'm fine with it.

But I still want a way to get rid of mud and other unbuildable areas. Even if it converts to a non-plantable area.

  • There is now a chance that surgeries will fail, either in a minor way or catastrophically, and controlled by medical skill.

So long easy bionic soldiers. :'(

I'm loving the AutoHaul, my only problem with it is, you can't assign the forbidden trait to medicine unless you remove the Home Zone. So your colonists will always use up the better medicine instead of the stacks of herbal medicine for scratches and such.
