The last time this MOD was fully functional was A9. I was a prison guard for 5 years. I would love to build a realistic jail in rimworld.  For the love of god , someone update this mod or release one with similar functions. Private cells, shared dinning.
+1, not on being a guard but updating the mod fully. loved this back in A9, had a jail with 20 cells, dining area paste dispenser and a yard for the prisoners to hang around. Even had its own hospital wing for all the brawls.

how do u set it to easy instead of hard

I struggled with this so i'll step by step as best i can.
1. open rimworld folder
2. open mods folder
3. open crash land folder
4. open defs folder
5. open optiondef folder
6. open crashlanding_options notepad
7. 6 lines down you'll see "<!-- <modeIsHard> blah blah blah. (this is section you need)
8. 3 more lines you'll see "<modeIsHard>true</modeIsHard>
9. replace "true" with "false"

GL mate, and may Rimworld drive you as crazy as it drives the rest of us!

remember to close and re-open game to make sure changes have taken effect. you might need to create new world and colony am not sure.

Dunno.

If it takes longer to cook in bulk than it does to cook individually, then it completely kills the point of this mod. I think that the xp nerf (the 4x meals didn't give exp for 4 meals, just 1) was more than enough.

If you're going to increase the cook times significantly, then I'd also insist on fixing the xp return.

To my knowledge, xp is only granted while on the stove, so if it takes longer to cook you'll get more xp. Will double check tho when am playing and edit if needed but think that solve's the issue.

You know what, you ought to do a basic armorer's table that allows similar crafting of low/mid tier vanilla armors.

Fusebox. very nice ratys. I tend to not use batteries but this could change thing's. Always have a rush on geo power just so i don't need solar / wind to avoid the discharge damage.

I loaded this into a save.

I don't see anything regarding research topics of how to unlock the stoves, and I don't notice any new stoves looking through my architect thingee.

What's the name of the research topic??

Should be under bulk meals preparation. (700 to re-search)

Nice mod!  One small issue is that it doesn't register as a source of meals, so if I ONLY have pro cooking stoves and no other stoves, the warning "Need Meal Source" persists.  But i'm probably repeating what someone else has already reported since I haven't read anything else in this thread.

Thanks!

oh i didn't notice that. I just powered down my vanilla one when the pro stove was in-place, was about to delete it so i could move butchers table in closer. glad i haven't.

These all look fantastic. Skill lock for surgical operations maybe?

"Oh oh  oh, but I've cut off his head!"

"Bloody hell: you were just strapping on a peg leg. You don't even need a knife for that!"

PS I've not had a chance to dig far enough for a proper report on mending, so I apologize for the incompleteness of this: I've seen a number of reservation errors around the mend bench I think happening between mend completion and hauling of mended item, i.e., hauling target B to C. Happens when there are a lot of active haulers around.

Aye cracking idea. met that prob before myself when removing organs from prisoners. harvest lung. "blah blah has failed in minor operation way". *checks health*, "head cut off". err excuse me doc, but where are your lungs? actually laughed at the game when i read it, wish it was vidieod for all to see. not only is beheading minor fail. hahaha. but its no where near operation area! maybe ma doc is just corrupt, or hates pirate's.

This is a great idea. No more sending pessimest's to cryosleep because of stupid drone, inject with sanguin / optimist. And more importantly, no more forgetting to let them back out when psychic drone is away.

Mods / Re: Suggested mod: Chef's / butchers priority

wastelander has released a mod that kinda does this now. I'ts called skill lock and can be found on above link. doesn't actually set table owners, but it can be used to prevent low level crafters using tailors bench, or stop high level cooks using butcher table's.

Big thanks to Waste

Thank you waste, this goes a long way towards something similar to a mod i suggested (skill block mod). brilliant work. thanks!

have now left a link in my suggestion thread to here, this way anyone else making or better still anyone else thinking "aye that's a gid idea" will be able to grab your mod.
once again thanks bud.

Version 2.0 has been uploaded.

There is a research topic which unlocks the Professional Cook Stove.
Pro Cook Stove can make single meals, 4 meals, or 8 meals at once.
Vanilla Cook Stove can make single meals or 4 meals at a time with no research requirements.

It took a while to get the texture looking good enough for me to say it's fine for a first draft. I'll probably improve the textures later on when I have more time to fiddle with details. It can be seen in the attachments.

awesome work mate! New stove looks really good and fit for purpose. think i might just go ahead and kidnap you, outta love of coarse. haha.
