Ideas / Colonist needs and collectables

Had a look through suggests at first see if this been suggested hadn't seen it in the first 5 pages so thought would write my suggestion and see how people react and think.

I do understand these suggestions would take a huge amount of work to carry out but think could add a nice new challenge to the game and a new twist with the collectables.

Do apologies if this has been talked to death already.


COLONIST NEEDS SUGGESTION

Currently we have a few things that effect the mood of colonists which we have to monitor:
Food, Beauty, Rest, Comfort, Joy and Space.

What I was thing was maybe expand this and change a few things around having again 6 needs but changed to similar to the Sim's games I know some are a long way off in the game development but think would add a new challenge to the game:
Hunger - Same as Food now
Fun - Same as Joy
Comfort - Effected by quality of beds and chairs (Colonists expect better as wealth improves).
Social - Wanting down time to spend with other colonists (Traits like loner reduce drain on this).
Bladder - Start off with hole in ground but eventually a water system for toilets and such
Hygiene - Similar as above starting with wash in lakes and building to water system
Energy - Same as rest currently.
Environment - A combination of both Beauty and space with an equal value for both.

Expanding on this could be Colonists after a while could request single rooms such as a bedroom and bathroom to themselves or get depressed, This could be flagged up same as how mood issues are with "Colonist A wants own bedroom", "Colonist B wants own bathroom". "Colonist C wants both bedroom and bathroom".


COLONIST COLLECTABLES

Colonists like to collect items for themselves and keep them either on there person or a safe place in the room using shelves or cabinets and so fourth. The person could become attached to these items becoming depressed if they are stolen or destroyed, (using the social relationship people could take items from each other to make full collections if jealous or have trait of mistrustful).

Way could be started is by having a additional storage tab for collectables where colonist can pick there favourite items from and take the ones they want.

The items could be dropped by raiders, sold by traders or crafted on a special workbench, only a suggestion no way limited to these ways or a mixture of the above making it a challenge for all of them to be collected.

These items could be jewellery, skulls, toys, special stones (rubies, gems), miniature status.

Hoping if people like it could come up with other items or how it could effect the game.

I am Curious is this Mod still being worked on?

To add this mod do I need a new world or colony or would it run fine just adding in?
