In each Modding community there are select few who is so distinguished by all the fellow user that separates them from other modder in term of passion and quality of their work. Rooki1 you are indeed one of such special few.

I gotta say the Federation's history really kicks me in here. Such huge good intended empire goes terribly wrong in time is an intriguing story. I'm sure you already make an opposing front worthy of such formidable Federation, as stated in the poll which already closed. Well, I just wanna place an idea in form of event where these 2 opposing front collided nearby the player's Settlement. The option where we pitch in or lay low from that clash can be a spice in Colony live... or maybe make them collide in the middle of the Settlement and wake the crap out of the slumbering Colonists. Now that's a morning I really want to see.

You wouldnt need human meat, just something with the same materials.  Maybe just animal meat.  More than you would get from a single dead colonist or animal.  That way we dont just throw in a corpse and get a new person.

I just read a similar Idea from a player wanting to Craft A Colonist. If you need an idea of matterials used to create a Vat grown Pawn, why not use Abraxas' Biomatterial idea (Permission Needed tho). So it wont get OPed, make the requirement to be enormous amount of Biomatterials (From "melting" any fresh dead pawn in Bio Vats), and a Bionic Brain which need an AI Core and additional matterials to make. For Traits I think... it supposed to be random, or blank... Coz Traits are mysterious and not supposed to be controlled. It helps the balance too! When you hit the jackpot, you rolled. When sh*ts happens... well... there are load button in ESC Menu if you are really that pissed off.

Just an Idea for you friend... So maybe you wont have to start from the scratch.

Mods / Re: [Question] Craft a human.

What about procreation? I know Im starting to sound old and dumb but creating a human... I think human are made not just as simple.

There are male and female colonist... Alas the coding of relationship between spawn are still in progress... Aargh...

Well... Mobile Artificial Inteligence (MAI) is your option then. Cloning by using a ton of Biomatter from Abrexus' Superior Crafting MOD also possible (Permission required), add Positronic Brain Implant from the same mod (Still not available in current MOD thoo...), and maybe you are good to go... If this is still too much, try to lower difficulty in option and keep your colonist alive till then.

Don't forget to make accepting a willing to stay permanently visitor be player's choice. I definitely pissed if a willing pawn is not up to my standards suddenly in my care. I think such choice is also fair, coz an entering group/solo pawns are random enough.

For security, a safety area where guest come together can be an option. So if an alert event triggered, all guest immidiately go to designated safety zone. Just like a standard safety procedures in a company. If they still died en-route... well sh*ts happens...

I say save-n-load can be abuse should the player choose, and I'm calling this plan a good one. Hell... This Idea can make an alternative ending from existing make-n-go-starship ending. Staying, settling, and braving the wild, while adapting with local politics is also an achievement in my opinions.
