Just to share, I usually play at x1, then switching faster during night or when everything is running smoothly.

Yeah... I usually crank it up when a majority of my colonists are sleeping.

I would love more advanced sound options for the game, especially weather.

I've watched this twice now. I guess I don't understand why Ryu is dropping the shells each time you tell him to man the mortar. Could you explain?

I'm Jason (otherwise known as JPT).

I'm American and 31 years old. I've been playing Rimworld since December of 2014 and producing videos of my gameplay since that same time on my Youtube channel. I don't exactly remember what introduced me to the game but I wouldn't be surprised if it was through a fellow Youtuber.

Other games that I enjoy include Minecraft, Cities: Skylines and Starbound.

No real embarrassing gaming story but I make all of my failures viewable on a daily basis. My streams typically put something odd or embarrassing on display pretty often.

I used to love Lucky Charms but as I've gotten older Frosted Flakes and Raisin Bran have taken over my cereal wheelhorse.

I've been involved in the radio industry for more than 15 years and I just recently stopped working on-air and working from home in a support role. I am involved in social networking, graphic design, web design, voicework, commercial production, IT and various other skills that I have learned over the years. I've been involved in many on-air projects had a morning drive radio program for over 5 years.

I'm about to be a father very soon. My wife and I are expecting a son in late June.

It was damn cold out during the winter and I didn't want to take chances.

My current setup has two connected greenhouses (enclosed) adjacent to my freezer. The heat output keeps both rooms warm enough. I went with greenhouses instead because I'm nowhere near any geovents and I'm not a fan of camping at the edges of the map.

I've been looking for a use for all of my A/C units heat exhaust vents. Good call!

Heatwaves and intense thunderstorms have been the biggest challenge for me so far. Usually the thunderstorms create some fires, but luckily the rain persists enough to put them out. If not, just add the area as a home region and your colonists will do their best to put it out themselves.

Resources are definitely becoming a chore to manage, especially wood. Gotta clear those trees to have good sniper shots from your protected base perimeter...

I've yet to do surgery myself but I just got a prisoner/colonist that is bedridden until I can get them a working leg. Only time will tell...

the simplest way would be to have SERPARATE windows logins(user names) for the alpha 9 and alpha 10 games, other than the separate users method it all gets very messy very quickly

I am looking to continue my long running alpha 9 world for my Youtube channel. But I'm also interested in jumping into alpha 10, possibly for streaming purposes.

Is it possible to have both alpha versions saving worlds to the same Windows folder location and not cause any weird issues as long as I am careful loading only the worlds created in the correct alpha version?

Any insight would be appreciated.
